OCZ Platinum series seems to give the greatest flexibility for keeping your timings at a given speed of front side buss, which may or may not be important on the AMD side of life depending on the CPU and what's locked and what's not.

No, I didn't link magnum Howie because they don't have anywhere near a competitive price here. I've advised them of newegg's deal and they've done nothing to get competitive, much less beat the price. newegg's good enough to order OCZ from. After all, OCZ has the best rMA service if ever needed, so the vendor on that one is not so important.

In fact, on hard drives, it is... pardon the pun... hard to beat newegg's price on WD Raptors!

Actually there are a few PSU`s I would choose over the OCZ Platnum!!

Most any Fortron PSU!!
The Enermax Liberty Series
The Seasonic Super Silencer or the S12 Series
You might look at the Zippy/Enhance PSU`s

Anyways the OCZ is a nice PSU but you can do better!! :)

According to guru3d and a few other people who have benchmarked x1800xts in crossfire and non-crossfire mod. 1900xt under load pulls 280 watts in a similarly configured system, the 1900xtx pulls 290. In crossfire the 1900's pull 415. So the previous reccommendation of 450-500 and i would lean toward the 500 would be right on the mark. I would also stay away from the Antecs and lean toward the Fortorn, OCZ, Seasonic PSU's.

Instead of working with minimum, I suggest in your case Seasonic S12-600. A few dollars more takes care of any future upgrades and possible future computer changes.

Keep in mind that is AC power draw so depending on what PSU Guru tested with you would have to reduce those numbers by 20-30% to get realistic DC numbers.
