weed has less calories and no hangovers.

Bud (the beer) has 146 calories per can.

well i'm not arguing about the nutritional values of either 🙂 I'm just saying I'd rather get a case of labatts than drop 50 bucks on an 8th

Not to mention calories are for people that don't get off their asses 😛

Don't know why there'd be a lock. In plenty of countries it's legal and even in the US you can be a legal medical user.

The Federal courts say that you cannot have any. That supercedes state law. 10 states in the US have medical marajuana laws allowing residents to grow/own it. That's not legal.

I still think State Law > Federal Law, but that's neither here nor there.

Medicinal, sure. But did a doctor tell you and your girlfriend to smoke it?

I smoked daily in my high school/early college years, but I can count on one hand the number of times I've smoked in the last 3 years. Since I turned 21 I've turned eo drinking, even though I always liked smoking more.

I've been drinking for years and years and I've had all of one hangover. Yay for weed. 😕

Not all of us get drunk off 2 beers.

Let's say child pornography is legal in some places around the world. We still can't spread it around because it's illegal here in America.

Ninjas don't smoke pot b/c it slows down our reflexes from "fast as The Flash" to "slightly slower than fast as The Flash". We do however hang out in our dojos and drink beer and jack and cokes b/c that stuff doesn't affect us b/c we aren't little babies.

Yeah, me - epilepsy, her - spinal injury.

Are we talking dank or mexican?

Not that it would matter, as drugs are bad and I would never do them, I'm just currious.

Read the frickin law. Federal law supercedes state law. If there's no federal law about something, it's left up to the states to individually decide.

Right. I'm one of those that drinks half a fifth of vodka and gets a little tipsy.

Oh yeah, it's half an ounce... you know, one half of one ounce.
There is no reason why I choose to correct that one response though. 😉

No need to jump on me, I said "I still think".

Is this clearer, "I still think that State Law should supercede Federal Law."?

Anyway, I'll stop crapping this thread. 🙂

Correct, UNLESS the feds are trying to legislate in area specifically given to the states. Read the 10th amendment. Of course, many scholars have said that te 10th amendment has no force, as we've seen the Supreme Court legislate just about everything under their Commerce Clause power.
