So the above in a simpler formula would be:

(96,023,631*A + 212721907 *B + 263467441*C)/308745538

Where A and B is the percent you would argue is unequivocally racist in the red and blue states respectively. And C is the percentage of the rest of America you would would say is racist BUT where there's room for argument.

Yes it's a silly and stupid equation but the OP asked :p

This equation cracks me up because you're giving the answer to the sum of the first two parts in the third part. It's meaningless.

When someone's telling a story and they mention the race of a person involved in the story who is of a different race than the storyteller, when that person's race is not relevant in any way to the story being told, the storyteller is racist.

Pretty simplistic way of putting it but it seems to be true the majority of the time.

The media tells me the tea party people are racists

They ain't, they be the only voice of sense in a senseless world. That there be the result of the obvious liberal bias of the media. That's what happen when you elect that Tiger Woods fellow prezident.

What's with the " Red States " and " Blue States " bullshit. I have lived all over the CONUS and have found as much racism in the " Blue States " as I have seen in the " Red States ".

Southern doesn't equal racist.
Northern doesn't equal non-racist.

And I hate to say it, but Locut0s ( living in Canadia ) cherry picking numbers out of his ass doesn't have a clue. When you pick numbers out of your ass all you get are shitty numbers.

How true. Guess no one remembers the "unrest" in
Boston, a northern city btw, Locut0s, when forced busing hit in 1974. The "unrest" rivaled anything that had occurred in the southern states up till then. (Hint: When the buses pulled up to high schools in white neighborhoods, police had to escort black teenagers through a gauntlet of thrown rocks and bottles; the students heard shouts of "Die, ******s, die!" and saw signs that read "Bus Them Back to Africa!")

Everbody is racist to some extent... Everybody!

interesting. then the question should be how many act on it?

whats bothersome is you can know someone for a while and think they are not racist then out of the blue they act different. I knew a guy for about 2 years. i invited him over to a party when he found out i come from a mixed family he wouldn't come over anymore. it was kinda weird.

What makes a racist??

At times: 'Any White person with an opinion different from my own'... is clearly a racist.

Also: '..if browbeating that white person is to my advantage.." then (s)he is definitey also a racist; since that is by far the most effective and fastest method to both change the topic *and* put them on the defensive.

Well first you need to get a correct definition of Racist in place.

Most people who get called out for being racist aren't racist, just saying racial things. To be a racist, you need to look down on other races as if yours is better, and/or outright hate them for no reason other than their race.

If you were born after say 1980, you most likely have no issue w\ any of this. If you are one of those people who clings to a political party affiliation, you're more likely to be a racist. This is because you have the mindset of my team vs your team which inevitably leads you open to the ignorantly associating the actions of a few people to be those of the entire race to which they belong.

/knowledge dropping.

racism is not a binary state. Everyone is racist along a continuum from barely to extraordinarily so. It is just the degree that varies among individuals.

I asked basically the same thing above, it is BS. Yea, clearly using stereotypes to prop up a stereotype is a smart thing to do.

I think people do this to build a cheap mental prop for themselves. In other words, by assuming your opposition group is "more racist" that automatically means you are less racist, and thus on the side of the just. Cheap mental masturbation.

According to these forums:
- if you label someone a racists, you yourself are a racist for not being tolerant and understanding of a racist.

- if you post a news story about a black people commiting a crime, then posting two pictures of Ben Savage, you are not a racist.

- if you get banned, modded or punished for masked racist threads/comments, you are the victim. Still not a racist, but are being picked on.

- if you call the President an illegal alien, then a communist, then an overpowering capitalist, then a weakling, then a overpowering warlord, then US citizen, then a etc. etc. etc you are NOT racists; you are just telling it like it is, by flip flopping back and forth on what kind of "evil" Obama really is.

LOL it IS meaningless! :we:

But I don't see how I'm doing what you say I am. I'm breaking the US population into 3 population groups and assigning each group a different percentage of racism. Each group is mutually exclusive and not counted in the others. Sure I could just just pick percentage and be done with it but this way does help to break down where the most variability might be.

Your third group is dependent on the first two groups and you've hardcoded that number into your equation.
