How much of a performance hit would I take?

I bought a 512MB PC133 module from PCliquidators for $59 last week but when I plugged it into my system it wasn't stable.

I'm running a IWILL KK266 w/1Ghz Tbird OCed to 1.33Ghz. I had 256MB of PC133 Corsair memory to start and added this additional 512MB. I am also running Win2K.

Since the memory wasn't stable at 133, I changed my FSB from 133x10 to 120x11 getting 1.32Ghz.

I was wondering if this would noticeably slow down my system thus making the point of adding additional memory moot.

You'll quite likely only see that speed decrease in long benchmarks (or if you use SETI, a slight increase in WU times). And the memory will help a lot if you're one of those people who runs Photoshop and 3dsmax in the background. So don't worry about it. :)

slower bus = tad bit slower, that's why you want a 133 based CPU not a 100 (unless you're going to overclock to 133 bus :D )

A little slower but your other devices would be running a little faster wouldn't they? Since at 133 it'd choose dividers so the pci bus is at 33mhz and the agb is at 66. But at 120 both would be overclocked and might improve performance a tad.

doubt it. most periphs dont use the pci bus with enough bandwidth to matter.
