How much of a difference is there for games/apps/OS with Raid 0 and no raid?

This doesn't make any sense. Or am I missing something ? Can you rip multiple CDs at the same time ? 🙂

Or if you move a big file from one place to the other.
Only if you have at least 3 disks , AND, you're writing to the RAID0 disk. Think about why 🙂

I just don't get it. :Q
Plenty of people have suffered data loss from their single drive going bad. I wouldn't think the odds were significant of one of two RAIDed drives going bad over the odds of a single drive going bad.

With four or more drives striped, I could see that there would be a much greater risk of one of the four going bad.
 
I run RAID 0 on my computer I have the stipe at 2 megs and it is working great. I have had a few scares over the last year when the addin card couldnt find the hard drives that was scary. I just backed up all my important files to CD. like you shlould do anyway if you just have a single drive.
