How Much Music Do you Have?

~2,300 songs, and I actually listen to and love each and every one. I know many people with 50+gb collections who aren't even into music and wouldn't know nine out of ten songs in their library. I don't understand why they bother.

I guess they like having a large library and the idea of being able to choose from a vast selection.

I don't bother getting music I don't like, and I delete (or just don't rip, if it's CD) a song from an album if I end up not liking it. I mostly add to my collection song by song now, so I do listen to all the music I own.

For format, I prefer lossless (FLAC), but 256Kbps or 320Kbps CBR MP3 will do for portability.
