I got home from class one day and I was taking all of the stuff out of my pockets. I realized that if I included the stuff in my backpack also, the worth of all of the stuff I carry on me every day is rather high.

$300 mp3 player
$150 cell phone
$1000 laptop
$130 calculator
$80 watch

Eeek. What about you folks? I never really thought about it before...

So in reality, you're carrying about $56.83 cents, which would be manufacturer's BOM for all of those items.

$100 cell phone, $200 PDA, $60 BT headphone receiver. I don't need laptops, calculators, mp3 players, or other stuff like that. This combo takes care of everything.

Damn... what I carry with is probably worth more than my car... or I should say probably cost more than my car is worth now, but you get the idea.

(Prices are original cost. I know some of it is dated or cheaper now.)
MacBookPro, $2k
Canon A85 Camera, $250
MS Zune, $250
2GB Flash Drive, $40
Nintendo DS, $150
Phone, $200

As probably valued now:

Lappy: $1400
Celly ~$50 (it was $250 2+ years ago)
80GB Zune $250
Sennheiser headphones $50

Total $1800

My camera is probably worth about $150 now, but I hardly ever carry that on me.

C'mon, you know it is against Paypal rules to charge for the fees.

Good deal. Now the only question remaining is how many hands can I fit in my pants at one time?
