I used to only have 128MB RAM and boy was w2k a pig. I upgraded to 256MB (all the laptop can handle) and it is useable now.

Currently 131MB of 256MB (Outlook, Netscape, Excel, Onyx)

It's taking 131MB out of 512MB I have installed. It's been running for 6hrs now, numerous application openning and closing. But I've found RAM usage stays around that level for the most part.

Right now I'm using roughly 180,000K (180megs?) out of 1340936K (1048megs...)

For some reason, my pagefile is HUGE (384meg).

I just changed it to 128meg.

So.. yeah.. I'm running WinAmp, ICQ, cdrw stuff, etc.

Windows 2000 Server

I have 64 megs total on my windows 2k machine. Works fine for office apps (it's the family business machine) and basic web browsing. I haven't actually checked to see what it uses on boot up, but it tends to use either 10% or 100% of system resources according to the task manager 🙂
