How much math did you take in college?

taking 12 math credits next sem(calc 3, intro to diff eq and linear algebr). does econometrics count? it is pretty much statistics.

All in all about 15 credit hours (If I did that right.. 3hrs of instruction + 2hrs lab per week each course).

Science diploma.. going into bac. of engineering where I'll have another 9 or so credit hours of math instruction and a fvckload of physics.

I think around 29, it's hard to say because I started at a semester-based school and transferred to a quarter-based school.

Yeah, I know that's how it works, but the point is I didn't take them while I was in college.

I'm taking a discrete math course right now, but since it's under our CS department technically, I don't consider it math. I doubt I'll take more in the future (too many EE courses to take first).

3 credit hours. If I recall correctly, the class was called introduction to contemporary math. we did stupid stuff we all did in the 5th grade like venn diagrams. I was a history major, so I only had to take one. I chose that class because it was in the early afternoon and on tuesdays and thursdays. i never took a single class in college that met on a friday. damn....that was a long time ago now. ill finish my 3rd year of law school in a couple months, so i guess that makes me an adult or something...

Normally that would count for 3 credits of math and 3 of chemistry.

I took 4 years as a Mechanical Engineer and then my fifth I transferred to Information Science when I got over what other people thought of what I would be doing for work and instead went for what I would actually want to do. It was an easy transfer, for some reason every class carried over . If I didn't take all of the Engineering math there is no way I'd have anything close.

Although I had Calc II twice.

Calc never clicked....still doesn't. Good thing I haven't needed anything more than basic algebra on the job.

I did 30 hours of math with my dual degree for computer science engineering and microbiology. I also did 6 hours of Statisics... not to mention my 12 hours of physics based calculus... hmm... i did alot of math...

I don't remember the exact number, but classes off the top of my head, I took at least 7 classes.

Calc II, Lin Alg, Diff Eq, Predicate Calc, Logics (Proofs/More Pred Calc), Probability, Cryptography... <Some other proof and theory classes>

I wouldn't say Automata Theory is directly Mathematics, but it dealt with Turing systems, P and NP system, state systems, and AI. More of a computer science thing, but it had a lot of math involved.
