That calculator is bogus, it just lists retail prices, not the bargain prices that most people actually buy Steam games at.



I wonder who has the most "valuable" account (highest $ value with least number of games). Probably someone who buys COD every year. :awe:

Sure its bogus, doesn't mean its not fun

Also, they adjust older titles retail.

So if you don't always buy everything on sale and the retail price has gone down, it might list that you paid less for the game.

My playtime is 771.3 hours, or 32.1 days, or 4.6 weeks, or 1.1 months.

Mine:

Player owns 39 game(s) on Steam, of which he/she has played 22. That means he/she has not played 17 of them.
His/her playtime is 108.9 hours, or 4.5 days.

That's completely messed up. I know it's way off base because it shows up Dragon Age: Origins as only played for 15 hours, while I spent about 90+ hours on it (just completed one playthrough about a week ago, and about 25% of my second playthrough now). I've also spent around 10+ hours during the holiday week playing co-op Lara Croft: GoL with my son (crazy fun, btw) which is also not logged correctly.

It looks like at some point in the past couple of weeks Steam just stopped logging my game time.

and since I have a 10 year old Steam account, I know for a fact some play times are not calculated or miscalculated.

And this doesn't even include the obscene amount of time I had when I checked my /played in WoW years ago. Thankfully I don't play that anymore.

Weirdest thing is, I actually hardly game at all. I do a lot more game buying than game playing. Other than a little bit of CS:GO these days I rarely load anything from my Steam library, and my 3 consoles just sit there.

With occasional exceptions like The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim etc where I really get caught up in a game til completion.
