$40 no taxes - unlimited mins/txts with PagePlus, no contract either so it's a good deal.

not much, I'm on my moms family plan and I just pay for what my line costs, it was 25 but we recently got moved to Verizon, which I like, but they have unlimited txt as part of the family plan for like 10/mo or something so I"ll prolly end up paying like 15/mo. I rarely talk on my phone, I don't know how many min I have but I use less than 100 on average.

$0, work pays for it, along with internet and cable tv.

This, except I don't get cable tv paid for by them. Instead I get a new car every 90,000 miles, including 100% of it's fuel use for business and personal, maintenance and insurance.

Gosh, I wish I could get them to pay for cable tv... ;)

Mine's free through work on the condition that I answer it during non-work hours.

My wife's is $30/mo unlimited talk/text through MetroPCS.

Feel like I need a TB shot every time I go in the store, but the prices aren't bad and no contract is nice.

I've spent $220 in the 18 months I've had my TracFone, & that's counting the cost of the phone... so that's about $12 a month.

$1-2/mo. I've been using the 1,000 minutes on Tmobile prepaid for 2 years now and I still have 500 left.

too much
~$181.50 to Tmobile
3 lines, two G1 phones with data/400 texts and one normal phone with unlimited texts

Ouch! $181.50? My co-worker on T-Mobile told me that he got 2 lines (Motorola Cliqs) with unlimited web/text/talk for $130 a month.

I'm on T-mobile with 4 lines family plan, 2000 shared minutes, unlimited text, and paying $170 / month. However, I'm going to switch to lower minutes in hopes of knocking my monthly bill down to $130.

$150 for 2 iPhones on a family plan (400 minutes and 200 texts for both of us, and unlimited data on both)

that's kinda expensive.

got 2 phones (mytouch 3g) family plan, data plan, 700 anytime, nights/weekends, mobile to mobile, 400 text messages a month for $95 (includes taxes)

I can't believe how much some people pay for cell phones! It's nice to see people who spend very little as well.

How many of you don't have a land line? I got rid of mine years ago when Verizon tried jerking me around on a repair issue. I like the whole concept of cell phones better. You can call the exact person you want to talk to, and not a household hoping you can catch the right person.

About $35/mo

I have a line on my brother's Alltel (now Verizon) plan. I think we share 700 minutes. He has text and data stuff but mines just calls.

Actually it's been more like $0/mo since I haven't sent him a check in 7 months. :D

Prepaid, about $10 a month. No fancy 3G here. I actually use my phone to *gasp* make phone calls :)

Most of my friends use the same provider, so I get unlimited free calls to them. Also unlimited texting for free.

about $60/month for 2 cell phones with Verizon. 1,000 minutes shared.. no data.

thinking about lowering the minutes... all we call is family, and everyone has Verizon. Free calls to everyone. I think we use about 200 minutes a month, shared max.

$30 or so, which is still way too expensive, considering I hardly use the thing.

$67 Canadian. I get 350 outgoing minutes during the day, unlimited incoming minutes at any time, unlimited calling from 9pm-6am and unlimited calling on weekends. I also have unlimited texts, unlimited video messages, unlimited data, voice mail, caller ID, and satellite radio. My provider is Bell Canada. Contract not required, but I have one because I'm a stupid idiot who signs contracts.

<<---- raise hand

I haven't pay a penny for landline in the last 5 years. $30/month for my cell phone service is a steal. Cell phone is so mobile and you can take it anywhere with you, plus unlimit data/internet/texting = FTW.

i didn't have a land line for 2-3 years, only reason we got one now is we switched to DSL for internet and the 'package' is cheapest we can get
