How much is your Co-Pay for health insurance?

Mine is $25 dollars, D'oh! 🙁

I swear I heard some physicians don't insist on charging co-pay but I just couldn't find one. 🙁

How is it that my current PPO plan has higher co-pay than my previous HMO? This doesn't make sense. Although I just find out I don't have deductible. Wohoo!
 
for some reason it went from $25 to $0 last year 😕

i swear our HR people spin some giant wheel of medical benefits to decide what contract to go with each year

i don't know what it is for next year yet, we have to decide all that stuff this week
 
None, first $750 is free (doctor visits, health care, medication) then after that it's a straight 80/20 on whatever costs come up.
 
N/A....$1000 deductable, but I get $500 towards that every year, which rolls over from year to year - and since I'm a young single person that never gets sick, it basically means I don't pay anything. After that $1000, I pay 15% of most things.

$10 for Office Visits, $25 for Emergency Room

$35/month for PPO

To answer your question, a PPO gives you the flexibility to go to any doctor you want in your network without having to get referrals from your PCP in a HMO. The additional flexibility comes with a cost.
 
I have a $2200/person deduclible, and a 25% discount for most medical services. Then, a HSA that I contribute $250/month tax free to cover expenses. This works out to about $500/month for health insurance-not bad for family coverage, and it's cheaper than $900/month full coverage.

Yeah- my company's health care sucks, but this is about the best deal we can muster.
 
I pay $15 every paycheck (every 2 weeks). My employer covers 90% of my HMO and 80% of the PPO for employees who choose that.
 
$10 for office visits, prescriptions are either $3, $12, or $25, all procedures are free.

With our new concessionary contract we pay $50/week in premiums.
