Nice car. Mine said the same value except I only paid $23k for it, with most options (MSRP on sticker was ~$27k).

I can't use those resources to find out. Most of my cars are classics that are actually worth 10X or more what they cost new.

I actually paid $23600, I just put $25000 as that's what it was going for back in 03 at most places.

I wouldn't sell it for less than 15K in its current state....a lot more once it is finished.

DITTO 🙂

Oh yeah....

1970 Chevelle Malibu
New: Approx $4,000
Now: Appraised at (not agreed value): $18,500
Purchase Price 5 years ago: $6,000
Amount spent since: $5,000
Total paid for price: $11,000

Pretty decent return considering I still get to enjoy driving it anytime I want 🙂

My current beater:

'96 Sentra bought in 9/03 w/120k miles for $1500.
Now has 150k miles and KBB says it's worth about $2400.
I'm not too shocked... I got a killer deal when I bought it.

But the funny thing is I checked half a year ago and it was worth about $2000 @ 140k miles, so the value of it went UP by $400 in the past 6 months??
Could it be because of rising gas prices?

I love this car to death though. It gets me 42 mpg and has never left me stranded.
The only repairs I've made were $100 downpipe replacement (hole rusted through) and $380 clutch job.
I'm driving this thing until the tires fall off and then some.
