dang habenero in the chili is kinda hot...got a little sweat going on now, gonna have to turn on the A/C, not to mention it's 98 degrees here. Anyways, for all ATOTer's what is too hot for you? Feel free to elaborate 😉

I pride myself in being able to eat REALLY hot stuff. I enjoy spicey food alot. Even have a 911 tee-shirt from Cluck-U.

I made chili with some habaneros Sunday. I was doing the dishes and something between the chilis and the new dish soap I was using made my hand BURN for hours. I had to sleep with a wet washcloth on my hand!

BTW, spicy food in hot weather rocks!

i took a few drops of 1,000,000 scoville extract straight to my mouth. it burned like hell for 20 minutes, i drank lots of milk water and ate some bread to get it to go away 🙂

I love hot stuff, it burns my hands more than my mouth... once on a dare, I took a shot of habenero sauce/vodka half and half. Pretty good actually 🙂

If the heat of the pepper or dish obscures the flavour, I'd say too hot. This of course is subjective, and it's always worse going out than coming in if it's any kind of heat at all.

I generally agree. If I have to stop after every bite for an extended period of time so that my mouth isn't in pain, it's too hot. I loooove hot stuff though.

As hot as possible baby. and btw, no chicken join/fast food place will ever make truly hot sauce. You gotta special order the stuff. I like my brows to sweat and my mouth to burn like hell.

Haha...that reminds me of a chili cookoff I took part in a couple years ago. I decided I was going to win hottest chili, so I made my batch with 2 dozen habeneros. And yes, I won for hottest chili.

Wait, it's 98 degrees and your A/C isn't on? What the hell...

I like to save money...I'm thrifty
plus it's only 88 indoors

No, that's just cheap. 88F indoors is still hot. Whatever though. 🙂
