Sempron 2600+
ECS Motherboard with PCI-E, 3 DIMM slots
512MB RAM (2x256)
120GB Western Digital HDD
ATI Radeon 9200SE
450W Generic ATX PSU
Chieftec Dragon Tower Case

I'm trying to sell this locally, for $450 CAD (~400 US) and have had no luck.

How much do you guys figure this is worth?

I'm advertising a monitor bundled with it, but I want to know the value of the tower.

Thanks,
Stew

$70 processor
$50-70motherboard
$70 Ram
$65 Hard Drive
$30 Graphics Card
case idk

BTW this is all new from newegg. So... also you forgot the mention the PS. But neway your price should be lower than all of this new heh

ECS is what Frys uses for their cheap combos, yesterdays special was a 2600+ with nforce 3 for $70, but you don't mention if you are including a licensed OS.

I think you would be lucky to get $200 US out of it, and prices drop every day that it doesn't sell.

I agree. Above $200 is stretching it, with monitor maybe $230-240 MAX. And as you said thats assuming it comes with Windows XP....... if not I'd say $150 or $180 with monitor.

Sempron 2600+ ($40)
ECS Motherboard with PCI-E, 3 DIMM slots ($30)
512MB RAM (2x256) ($30)
120GB Western Digital HDD ($70)
ATI Radeon 9200SE ($20)
450W Generic ATX PSU ($20)
Chieftec Dragon Tower Case ($35)

245 USD + OS?

In the summer I plan on selling P4 2.6@3.2ghz HT, 512mb ram, Radeon 8500 (faster than your card), 80gb drive, 52x cd-writer, 350 watt psu, case for $300 cdn. I think even that is going to be difficult.

Your price of $400 US is way too much.

Okie dokie.

People seem to be impressed by the price whenever I tell them about it though.

I am going to lower the price to around $350 US.

you could get away with $400 if sold to a n00b. The real price is around $230. There is a premium because it's already built and comes with an OS.
