How much is the tooth fairy paying out nowadays?

I remember getting change for my baby teeth. Maybe up to a dollar in change for each one. Now I think the going rate is 5 bucks.

If you have kids who get visits from the tooth fairy after losing a baby tooth how much do they score?

my parents killed the tooth fairy at an early age.
we also helped them kill off santa relatively early in our lives. 😀

That would work out to a whole 6 bucks. Did you save it up and buy something? 😛

I saved up all my money until I was like 12. I had a total of something like $150.

We give either a gold dollar coin or a two-dollar bill.

Very high on the cool meter and low on the actual cost 😉

I think I use to get from a quarter to, as I got older, a dollar.

Anything <$50 is Child Abuse!!!!! :|

backs out of thread, "twas a long wait for vengeance, but it is best served cold! bwuahahahaha!!"

Teeth are very cheap nowadays due to lack of demand and abundant supply in developing nations.

Anything over 15 cents per tooth would be over-paying, but you might get lucky and stumble upon a financially incompetent tooth fairy.
