Let that be a reminder to everyone... there is basically no such thing as a "temporary tax increase".
I would bet (I could be wrong) there's no tax on groceries (food) in any state.I seem to recall that there is no tax in California on grocery food, or something like that.
Obviously, I don't do the grocery shopping.

That's pretty sad they make people pay tax on groceries. Is it a sin tax (junk food) or is it on everything else?Nope, Louisiana folks have to pay sale tax on food (depending on the types of food). I am pretty sure (not 100%) the same for Arkansas too, not sure about Texas.
