How much is a 20" sony trinitron monitor worth? Guy selling a bunch for $149

I haven't seen them but some guy locally has about 30 he claimed he got through some government stuff. $149 even if they are used seems VERY good deal. 17" trinitrons for $49. I have no model specs yet. The guy is a MAJOR ASS because someone from work already called him but I'm still interested at this price.

I have a 20" Dell D2026T monitor (rebadged Sony) and I love it. I paid 250 for it at a computer show from one of those places that sells used monitors with imperfections. It's been running for 3 years so far with no problems. Considering you can't buy a new 20" Trinitron for anywhere near that price, and it is most likely a good monitor, I say go for it.

Looking at price watch, these things go for 150-200 refurbished. If you need 1 monitor, I'd say go for it. If you're planning on reselling them, I'd pass, unless he sold them to you for less.

Make sure it isn't a fixed-frequency monitor that requires a specific video card. They suck.
