How much HDD space is right for you?

Let's see:

300GB for movies and music,
200GB for documents and other files,
74GB for programs, applications and the OS.

I'd say that's not too much in exchange for happiness.....

lets double the 300GB and 200GB for a mirror raid.

who the hell uses under 5gb? i think it was useless to put anything lower then GB there. for me, the more the better. then you never have to worry about not having enough hdd space.

On my main machine 100GB (80+20) leave me lots of wiggle room. On my secondary I have an old 20gb and it does me just fine.

60GB hd on my laptop.

60GB, 80GB in wife's PC.

200GB external backup drive.

Really only need 50GB of space.
