I've got to admit that the criticism that I received from this forum for using bad grammar has helped me tremendously with my grammar skills. Especially when using something like, using your instead of using the proper contraction of you are (you're).

I've learned how to say "is suck, is teh suck" and "roxors" while in a professional environment.

Can't say it has helped. Quite the opposite unfortunately.:brokenheart:

Heck, I get wierd responses when I use "BTW". I don't know what would happen if I started using some of your phrases at work. LOL.

Not at all. I have always tried to keep my grammar good here, but looking at all the acronyms, purpose mispells (teh, pwned, etc...) I can't say that it has encouraged the growth of my grammar knowledge.

I know no one on here, okay besides yourself has learned a thing. I posted a thread awhile back about people's atrocious spelling mistakes. While I didn't get flamed, one person put up another commonly misspelled word and two others told me I was wasting my time. I'm happy you learned something. My bill is in the mail.

My high school english teacher pounded correct grammar into our heads, so ATOT hasn't affected it either way.
