Really? Why? His own hand picked representatives are doing the child molesting and his own organization is protecting them so they keep on doing it? If God in any way, shape or form disapproved of the pedophilia that's so rampant in his system he would have fixed it. He quite clearly approves and the followers of that religion must approve too. Otherwise they would have demanded answers. They have not. They've gone right back to supporting and financing the same organization that's been behind 2000 years of ongoing crimes.

I've got a problem with it because you're not trying to make a point, you're trolling - every bit as much as this whole post was a troll.

I've got major problems with the woes organized religions have brought the world (those woes are hardly limited to pedo Catholic priests). The reality is, however, that the average believer gets daily good from faith in a higher power. It's the institution, not the deity, I take issue with.

I concur. There is no need to bash God because of the actions of men that supposedly represent him. God's own actions (per the Bible) are more than enough to work with.

Can't we do both? God is supposedly omnipotent, he's powerful enough to take the bashing for his own actions as well as the actions of his own hand-picked child molesters. Let's face it, god thinks kids are nothing but targets. His priests prey on them and the big guy himself murdered a whole bunch of them because he was mad at somebody else.

Your own sig dismisses the omnipotence of God, so pick a culpable party - is it God or the people who've abused their positions in the Church?
