just a random thought I had while taking the garbage to the curb tonight

I average about 1 standard kitchen trashbag every 2 weeks... I think my neighbors are at like triple that, though.

We do about 2 1/2 bags a week. Every 3 weeks, there will be 3 bags.

That's between two people.

Back home, my parents and I would generate just enough trash to fill up a single round Rubbermaid Roughneck, plus some recycling stuff (not much).

We (wife and daughter) don't even bother to put out our garbage every week. We probably skip one week every month. But when we do it's just 1 bgarbage time lots of times and things like that. Just seems to depend on the week.

Usually about one to one and a half kitchen bags a week. It's mostly just me, but the girlfriend comes over on the weekends and stays over and that makes the trash amount go up. I think I might switch to those re-usable grocery bags as I find myself constantly throwing out grocery bags.
