my 2100+@2.3 will definitly do more with my 8rda+,twinmos ch-5 pc3200 512mb stick, ys tek/sk-7 + 5 case fans
running 11.5x200 right now. I need cooling for my nb though and a bigger hs i think and prolly a vdd mod. What do you think. My ram is at 2.77 and vcore 1.75. they get overvolted to 2.8 and 1.78. Shouldnt i not have to up the vdimm though since im running this ram in spec? Temps when it was around 75-77f in my apt were 32c case temp and 45-47c under load cpu temp

If you're going to do a vdd mod, use the grabbers, don't solder. You're going to add what to the n/bridge? At least add a fan and reset the hs with decent thermal paste. You're doing great, do you feel you hit the limits w/out higher volts?

Caution, I just scarily corrupted my 8rda+ 1.1 bios this weekend - luckily it reflashed. I couldn't get it higher than 12x197 on my 1700+ and didn't get past the bios settings before all died...

I'm obsessive on cooling now; will have a fan over my northbridge/cpu by this weekend even though I had temps identical to yours. But I'd keep on going and benchmark till you see a lack of performance gain and think again. Post your results please!

PS my trauma came in running my vdimm too far over the ram; some ram likes high vdimm, some doesn't, in my case my cute overclock came apart. I'm a noob though so more folks can jump in here. My ram DOESN't like 2.9 vdimm; buffalo with twinmoss chips as I recall.

yep. i think my ram hates its 2.77 overvolted to 2.8. I get random memtest errors but windows and games run like a charm
