<< "...you dont pay for anything except gas for the first 4 years of owning a mercedes. any mercedes."
That goes for Hyundai and it's 100,000-Mile, 10-Year warranty too, no?
My father-in-law always wanted a Mercedes, so he bought a 1975, decent sized four door. I have no idea what model. He bought it before 1981. It needed a radiator. That part alone was $300.00. It needed a water pump. That was $150.00. The exhaust was noisy, but I don't know if he got that repaired or not. Rust was creeping in here and there. I tried to help him change spark plugs, but the damn things were seized in the aluminum head, so I didn't force them. I guess he either left those in or had somebody else pull them out. He only kept the car about a year. It was not particularly smooth running, quiet or anything else to brag about. I don't think he's desired a Mercedes since! >>
on ahyundai you have to pay for wiper blades and oil changes, new tires and brakes, and a rental car if your car is in the shop for any reason, MB will give you a loaner and you'll never to pay for wear in tear for 4 years and some dealers even have other perks one in LA has a free car wash and wax and while your car is getting done you can get a manicure/pedicure and/or chair massage while you wait.
