I did the following services for someone and not sure how much to charge.

Reinstalled Win 7 on notebook
Took 2 desktop computers and combined them into one
After combining computer had to re-install OS and run updates
Installed learning software (Rosetta Stone) (Software was provided to me)
Installed and configured a Airport express onto an existing network

I never said it wasn't easy...however, it was time consuming.

time consuming???

Reinstalled Win 7 on notebook - 15 min
Took 2 desktop computers and combined them into one - 10-20min maybe..
After combining computer had to re-install OS and run updates - 20min
Installed learning software (Rosetta Stone) (Software was provided to me) - 5min
Installed and configured a Airport express onto an existing network - 2min

less than an hour... most of it doesn't require you even infront of the pc at all times.

wow, next time I'll send the stuff to your house. even after shipping it both ways I'll make a nice profit.

You're not paying for how easy/hard a project is, you're paying for the experience it takes to get it done. Everything is easy when you know how to do it. $50 is ok for a close friend. You're basically giving them a gift. For an "office friend", $100 is a bit better. For everyone else, look up Geek Squad prices, and cut them in half.

$50 + annoyance charge.

If they did anything that was annoying the annoyance charge goes up. Some examples:

Pestered you to do this for them after you said you were busy or didn't want to? +$50
Had any annoying questions or requests that made no sense and took more time? +$50
Asked you to back up their farm animal porn collection +$50
Expects you to continue providing free tech support for anything that goes wrong in the future on these machines? +$eleventy billion

Depends if it's a friend or not, a friend = $0
someone you don't know: = $50

50 dollars for working on several systems to the point of having to combine two into one? yea right. atleast 100, but honestly more than that for someone you don't know. risk/trouble shooting if sh*t goes less than smoothly, it just isn't worth the effort unless they are willing to pay a decent amount.

For someone who does this stuff for a living sure those times are probably about right. Though even then that would be a rush job, I know our own techs here would take a little longer. For someone who rarely does this but still knows how? Could be double or triple that.

Some of those times are accurate, some are wildly under-estimated. Win7 reload might be 15 minutes of actual interaction, but doing it correctly takes some time, particularly if the person wants to retain data/psts/nk2/etc.

A proper Win7 load looks like this :

backup data
full format
load x64 if possible, with sp1 already in it (saves a lot of time loading sp1)
all windows updates (depend on internet speed)
check for helpful driver updates, especially video/wireless drivers
ie9, ff4, chrome, flash, java, directx
microsoft security essentials + updates
applications that they use (office, handbrake, etc)
migrate user data back (favorites, email, etc)
make an image

Done right and completely, an average dual-core notebook with a typical 250-320gb hard drive, and an average amount of data and whatnot, that thing might take up space and need intermittent attention from you for several hours.

Just firing the disc in, quickformatting, and ignoring all updates/etc, sure maybe 15 minutes if the thing is fast.

I help out a friend from time to time with various issues. Sometimes over the phone, sometimes I need to be at his computer to straighten out whatever got messed up or stopped working correct. He usually provides lunch afterward. We also golf together.
