How much faster than my current rig?

Currently using P4 Northwood at 3.0GHz, 1GB PC3200 and a 6800nu 128MB AGP unlocked to 16/6 and clocked to 585/850

Thinking of getting the following:

E6300 Conroe
Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 mobo
XFX 7600GT (590/1600 version)
GeIL 1GB DDR2-800

I would plan on adding another 1GB RAM at a later date when I have more money, and then a mid-range DX10 in about 12 months from now.

How would this rig compare in recent games to my current system? I play at 1024x768 (limited by my 17" CRT) and like to use FSAA. I'm slightly worried that my current card would be better because it has 256bit memory interface and 16 pipes compared to the 128bit/12 pipe 7600GT. I'm not expecting a miracle with this new system - I'm just looking for a nice little improvement (right now) over my current rig (which is struggling a bit in the latest games) until I get more RAM and a next gen card.

Also, can somebody recommend a good PSU for around $50-60.......I'm thinking Fortron AX450-PN? Really can't spend more without making cuts elsewhere. Tight budget.

Thanks!

That psu will handle that system just fine. A 7600GT is nearly identical in speed to a 6800 Ultra, as you can see here: link.
