how much faster is 7800GT over 6800GS?

Hi,

7800GT is $380 and 6800GS is $200

I can't find any cheaper in Hong Kong. that's the cheapest i can find.

I know 7800GT is faster than 6800GS for sure, but how much?
For single digit? like 9fps or 19fps or 29fps ..(ex. Fear and Quake 4)

Sometimes i don't feel right to pay another $180 for a 9fps boost.

going by Anandtech review of the 6800GS then i agree with above

going by guru3d review of the 6800GS then i say 75-100%. They showed numbers to some where between the 6800NU and the 6800GT, where anandtech 6800GS == 6800GT in most cases.

7800GT is 75% to 100% faster ?!?!? this is huge...
u mean in Fear when 6800GS has 30fps where 7800gt could have 60fps?

let say i have one 6800GS or 7800GT, if i go into SLI, how much faster can i get?
another 75% to 100% gain?

Um, I'd say a nice 60% gain with SLI. But yes, 7800GT from 6800GS is a huge jump.

On, and you're from HK?? Haha, my dad came from HK... I love that island.
