Not for the iPad specifically, but for other products I would be willing to pay a little more for it to be made in the US. However, you said that anyone who said they're willing to pay more than $0.0 is lying about it which is obviously not true.

You're right, 99% of the people that say they'd pay more are lying. 😉
 
OP, even though I own the new Ipad, i still think the shit is ridiculously overpriced. Compare the Galaxy Tab 2 for example whose starting selling price is $200 lower than new Ipad with the same specs

The Samsung tab 2 feels like an underpowered pos compared to a new iPad. It's not even close.
 
I would be willing to pay $50.00 per if they were truly made in the us and not just put together by death row inmates.

Everyone manufactures their stuff in China. Even if it was done here in the USA, who would want to do that slave labor? Americans would require top dollar for that kind of work. Look at the auto industry.
