How much electricity do you use? Updated: August's bill arrived

Our bill for July:

1809 kWh

$134.66 + 4.42 in taxes/fees = $139.08. Pretty average. That works out to about $0.0744/kWh.

Our average cost per day is $4.08. Average kWh per day has actually gone up; 52.3 in July 2002, 54.8 in July 2003.

Highest month's usage were actually December 2002 and March 2003 at ~60+kWh/day. Lowest was May 2003, at ~36kWh/day. Not sure why May was so low...

Update: August:

Only 1471kWh from 7/16/03 to 8/18/03.

$111.09, or 0.0755/kWh. Last billing period, it was only 0.0744.. so I guess the cost of electricity has gone up slightly in the last month. 😛

Our electric bill for July was only $61. We live in an attached condo, and our everyone using their air conditioning keeps things cool, so there's no need to turn it down past 75.

I believe my parents electric varies from $60-100 and my dorm room has free electricity. We are soaking it up with two XP desktops and a dually server.

my was $200 i think could have been more.I have 2600 sqr house with central air on from around 9 am to around 10 pm daily also comp always on and if home tv is on. Keep ac on 75c

More like 3 space heaters.

Everyone else's dorm is nice and cool, ours is hotter than hell. Server is getting shut down for the night 🙁
