no,no. earnings / salary...

As far as civilian I would read the article below its not that simple. You normally start of on a regional carrier work long hours and don't get paid much. Its not all glamorous like old days.

If you want to fly I would go the air force route, unless you have a lot of $$ for places like Embry-Riddle. But you still wont have the hours of an air force pilot.

Depends on how well you can (or can not) avoid large buildings.

If you can avoid them pretty well, than probably about $80,000-$100,000 USD/year.

If you can't, then 72 virgins.

Pilots usually month earnings vary.

The Air Force, The Army, The Navy. Online aviailablility officer pay schedule.

Cheap private airlines deprived sleep pilots McDonalds pay schedule

A pilot in the military earns the standard function of rank + time in service. There might be some extras if you're flying in a combat zone or have some special pay for something. Otherwise, you're looking at whatever an O1-4 makes.

I am not sure about commercial. I used to hear it was fairly lucrative, but I think that has gone down in the years. And the hours are awful.

Almost nothing is more fun than flying, so ALL of the lower level jobs pay squat, hauling freight etc. Passengers is the other end, huge liability, so only those with massive experience get hired and the pay is typical for professionals with insane benefits if you like to travel.
