Depends on what you want to do,

In WA, its about $20-$40 to get a Master Business License, and another $200 if you want to Trademark your business name.

If you are selling products (Ie, Phones, Computers, ect), then you need to stock up on inventory and start advertising..

If you are selling services (Ie, Computer Repair, Car Stereo install, ect) you are going to have to advertise a price lower than competeitors...
