the key is power management
cutting the harddrive poweroff
saves energy, time, money and even wear on the harddrive itself
it maybe just my power supply fan being on
so maybe almost nothing. 🙂

 
You can power management someone's ass all day long, but that will never get you two weeks of running for a bootup.
 
I kinda skipped a few messages, but this one thing is real, a Light bulb uses as much energy to turn on, as it does in 30 seconds of contiuous running. Just a little fact.
