publicstorage.com has a 10 x 20 space for $350/month... :Q geez... i think i've read somewhere that you could get a temp-controlled storage dedicated for cars for that much... and those are for exotic cars. i'm just thinking of a project car that i could store somewhere else instead of home... :(

as per a recent unrelated joke thread on OT, you can take out a loan at a bank for approx 15 bucks for 2 weeks, or extrapolating on it, 30 bucks for a month ;)

Is it really all that much more effort to pick up a phone book and call a local storage company and actually find out how much it costs in your area? ;)

Right, and he needs an answer now - right now! Even though he can't have it stored until he finds one in his area, visits during business hours, and signs the contract (which would be a perfect opportunity to ask how much it costs).

My sister and BIL stored their Caravan for a week while they were in London.
They spent $7/day. Someplace near O'Hare.

I stored my car in Oklahoma City for 3 years while I was in OKinawa. It wasn't climate controlled, but it was covered and secure. $65 a month.

That was a "Do-It-Yourself" deal. There are companies that pecialize in car storage...keeping it running etc. I have no idea how much those cost.

Well, it'll cost you your wheels, your brakes, your sound system, and your seats. (More or less, depending on make/model)

Oooook... sorry... i thought this was a public forum... and well guess what... if i had an idea of how much they run when i do call... i won't be such an ignorant and get ripped off my ass... much less a hassle if i have to keep shopping around just to have an idea of how much it costs. :p
