I've moved my 27" CRT all over by myself. I figure it weighs about 90lbs. I find that the curved screens are much lighter than the flat screens though.

Depends on if it is a flat tube or not. Those flat glass panels are bricks. A 27" fishbowl tube is probably around 60-70 pounds. The flat tube ones can easily go over 100 pounds as others mentioned.

It was everything that I could do to get my 27" Toshiba flat screen up on a 5 tall dresser. I could easily perform that same task with an older 27" fishbowl Samsung TV.

Depends on when it was made. If it is an really old one, it would have all glass tube and those are REALLY heavy. More recent ones (say under 15 year old) have plastic back so they shaved a lot of weight (probably around 40%).

samsung 27 edtv that i have is about 90 or so. had to get the neighbor to help me put it on the tv stand which is 4 feet tall.

pick it up with the screen facing you and a 27" CRT is easy to handle.
