How much $$$ do you spend yearly on your computers?

I've spent $2600 this year @ newegg alone, and another $1000+ in the FS/T forum.......... 🙂🙂

real ok 1660 on i computer 1000.00 on the 2.4b in arkansas various upgrades um probably another 1000.00

games and software/dvd's another 1000.00+

Hehe Darn, you had to ask this question now.. cause this year I've done a big (everything) upgrade and also splurged for some toys (my job has been good to me 🙂 ). I would say about $2000 this year on hardware at least, and I have a 21" monitor on the way too.

Usually I don't do huge upgrades, but it's hard now with all the advancements in speed for video, mem, and cpus.

Yeah, I spend too much money on this hobby too. 🙁 In fact, I spend more time messing with hardware than I do the games that I buy it for. About $3,000+ so far me this year. I try to off set some of that by selling off what I don't need, and I also try to take advantage of rebates and deals whenever available. So far, video cards have been my biggest depreciator (ie ti4600 for $399.95 plus tax, sold it for about $200 five months later).

Oh well, it's still cheaper than my old hobby, which was handguns and ammo reloading. A quality Colt 1911, excluding all the tweaks and customizations, will still set you back $600-800. Even more so for my $1000 Gold Cup Nat'l match .45 ACP. Man, I miss those old military days of my youth 🙂

If I kept track of it, I'd probably check myself into a place for extensive psychotherapy.
If I could actually find a decent job, I'd probably spend even more. 😉

500-800 depending on how fast the "new" stuff drops in price. I buy after stuff hits the market and then drops in price.

Truth be told it varies from year to year for me. I'm usually dropping in the range of $1000 on computer schtuff.

Used to be about $500 or so, but now under $200 at the most. All I've really bought this year so far was an 80GB Western Digital back in May for $115.

Spent $1300 this year but thats because built a new computer, but usually spend about $50. Ill be set for the next 3-4 years with this comp just buy a new graphics card later.

Obviously more than I should. However, the most money I spend on computers yearly I pay the ISP. I have become upgrade lazy recently, and although I know it's pretty about time to upgrade, I'm still using a low speed Duron. I think it's kind of good that I haven't upgraded anything during the last year. No wait... I got a new LCD monitor, 2 different video cards, a new hard drive... These upgrades just seem to suck the money from you even if you feel you don't really need them all that much.

It varies, this year I will probably go over $5k due to the printer, but most years only 2-3k. I'm divorced, so I can spend it any way I want.

Welcome to the club ...being divorced does make computer purchases much easier 😉

A couple of years ago, I'd be spending $1000-$2000. This year, I've cut down to the things that I think I really need, like a glare filter and a gel mouse pad 😀

This year, I built a new system. So, I spent roughly ~$2000 US. Not bad for my SilverStreak. I hope it'll last me for at least a year and a half.

Last year I spent over 2000 Euros. 😱

This year I spent over 1000 Euros. 😱

Next year I will spend over 2000 Euros again (it's almost Hammer time😉) 😱

quite a bit... not as much as some. i'd spend more if i had it.

Just ordered a new mobo and CPU to replace my "aging" XP1800+ and KT266A setup. sad. 😱
