the only thing i buy is shoes, about 1 pair a year , usually i buy shoes that are from $20 to $50 a pair

i get all my other clothes from presents, birthday, christmas, whatever

I buy a lot of clothes at thrift stores $3-5 for whatever on average. Clothes are a lot like cars, why buy new and pay extra for the tags when you can buy used for a fraction of the cost.

polo jacket - $250
dress pants from express $130
BR dress shirts - $175
BR ties - $80

🙁

i hate work...

thats why you go to Ross, or your friendly neighborhood discount clothing store. duh.

hehe, i spend more than I would like to admit. 😉 I enjoy dressing well, so if I find a good deal, I'll buy it. I never buy anything retail, at least, it's always on sale or I have a coupon or something. Now that I'm 21, I haven't grown in a while, so I can buy nicer clothes since I know I'll be able to wear them in a few years.

I actually haven't bought many articles of clothing lately...the HT bug's been draining my wallet. These Studio 40s didn't help. 😉

Jeans=$30 each
Shorts=$25-30 each
Shirts=$15-$20 each
Shoes=$50-70

I just can't wear used clothes, never have been able to. I just don't like the feeling of wearing clothes that were someone else's.

Shirts: $15-20
Pants: $20-30 ($50 on rare occasions)
Shoes: $50-65

Of course, I shop at thrift stores when I'm feeling cheap.

I find them much more comfortable since they're already broken in...

i'll spend what i need to, but i'll be thrifty about it

$100 BR jacket
buy $100 GC for $75
use 10% off and free shipping code

not that bad in the end

Here are some of the shirts I have:

Doom (OOP)
Quake II (OOP)
Quake III:Arena
Hexen (OOP)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
3dfx (Spanish)
3dfx (I played the daily game...)
QuakeCon 2000
QuakeCon 2002 (Only 700 made; I didn't even go so I had to pull some strings on QuakeCon's boards)
G-Max QuakeCon 2001
MacOS X QuakeCon 2001
E3 Infogrames 2000
ATI Radeon 9700 STAFF
Duke Nukem 3D
Eidos Interactive
Crave Entertainment UFC
Armadillo Aerospace
Machinima Film Festival 2002 (Sent to me from John Carmack's wife, Katherine Anna Kang)

So on and so on. A lot are collected from eBay and I try to snag any id Software shirts I find. I originally planned to go down to QuakeCon last year to get any, if not everyone from id to sign my Doom shirt but it never happened. If you have an id shirt that isn't listed here and want to sell it to me that is in decent shape, PM me, keep the price reasonable and I'll be glad to take it off your hands. 🙂

My music shirts range to about 40 including Nine Inch Nails, Joy Division, Deftones, Tool, etc. All black unless I could help it. 🙂

EDIT: When id's store reopens, I'll be buying every shirt in there.

clothes are important to me, because I like to look decent, professional, and unfortunately in our world looks lead to a lot of prejudice, both good and bad, and the way I think is, if people will be nicer to me from the get go because of the way I look, then i'm better off. I'm a pretty good judge of character and I'll make the decision whether or not to further a relationship with that person.

Anyways... yeah I find it hard to spend more then 40$ for a single piece of clothing unless the retail price was originally like 150$ or something
