too much, i spend $6 to $10 on lunch every work day. $120 to $210 a month, depending on if its a 20 or 21 work day month. and thats not including the odd saturday when i get late breakfast on the way to work.

$170/month for meal plan - 6 meals a week
Probably avg ~$25-40/week for other meals (including buying dates meals..obviously varies) - so I'll say $135

$305..damn..oh wells 😛

:Q
Good lord, that's it? Meal plans here at Penn State's Erie campus start at $1,555 for a semester, and that won't buy you a whole lot of food.

For my family of 4, I think we are usually under $20. I don't feel like opening Money and doing a report on it, but that's probably about it. Hotdogs at Costco for the kids once in awhile, eat out at a casual dining type restaurant once every two or three months. That also includes the occasional coffee my spouse has at work.

I've realized the same thing and I've been taking steps to stop eating out in general. I've been spending around $50 every 2 weeks to load up my fridge/freezer with food. Still I eat out when there's special occasions like Birthdays and stuff.

I pretty much do the same thing, although I go a little less every two weeks. I'm usually looking at between $30 and $40.

Sorry RossMan, I had to do it.

On a more serious note, I spend more than I should. Probably 500 or so per month. I generally go out to lunch Every day between Monday and Friday. I go out on weekends at least for 1 or 2 meals. I am including what I spend if I have a couple of drinks as well.

I gotta beat the dealman on this one. 🙂

mtvU card

5% back at restaurants, entertainment, and bookstores plus silly stuff like points just for paying your bill on time. Yeah, its points not cash, but the extra amount makes up for it.

I dunno, but it's too much. On the plus side I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, so I have a lot more cash at the end of the month than many of my friends 😉

o man, this summer i'm gonna be commuting to work in NYC and I figure i'll be spending about $10 on lunch everday, so that'll be about $200/mo. Then it'll be more for when I go out on the weekend. I *could* try to bag my own lunch, but then i'd have to carry it around during my commute and i'm lazy. 🙂
