1151/month for a studio in West LA. Pay an additional 65/month for a second parking space.

will soon be moving to a one bedroom for 1195/month. i live with the bf so we split rent.

wow that is an expensive studio... the one next to me was vacant for a while for 700 including utils and parking.. I live on veteran about a block from ucla.. theres a bachelor (REALLY small kitchen) available for like 650 i think w/ the same setup.. utils and parking

i was about to say yours was absurdly cheap. i live down the street from the med center on tiverton. sad thing is they're raising rents in my building, which is why i'm leaving. (well if i signed another year long lease they wouldn't raise it.)

where on veteran? some of those buildings are rather suspect (i.e. the one at the corner of veteran and strathmore i think...) and when we looked at them they scared us. this one has semi decent size, a full kitchen (with dishwasher) and a full bath. all on the cramped side, but we also really like the manager as stuff gets done when we ask for it (only exception is our broken dishwasher, but its on order.).

$530 a month for a one bed one bath including all utilities, phone (no long distance), cable, DSL in Salt Lake City. We have 2 cinderblock walls and a bunch of errant children in our building that have recently started to kill the trees. we still havent figured out why or how, but the tree outside our window only has one living branch struggling for survival... stupid university housing.

We paid the house in cash the day we bought it, so we do not pay rent or mortgage.

But I pay approx. $400.00 per month for VeggieFrog's rent. She is in college and they just got a house.

Right on the corner of Veteran and Ophir, about a block away from Gayley(away from the cemetary thank god). The building is kinda old, but everything works fine and the manager is really cool. I like it cause there's a building in the front near the street, but in the back there's 2 studios with a gated lawn in front of them.. good for bbq's and small gatherings!

Anyway, hope things work out well at your new apartment :D
