$0 :)

I shave my head every 3-4 days for about 10 years now...

had a lady who did my fades for about 7 years (4 different shops) but she upped and quit and I couldn't find where she went...i tried a bunch of different places and was never happy...alot to be said about being able to sit down in the chair and it gets done exactly the way you want it...was paying around $10 + $5 tip back then...

The first time I shaved my head I was a bit nervous since I didn't know what the shape of my head was like without hair but it wasn't so bad...

$40 + tip.

I used to do the cheap haircuts and my pain in the ass hair always looked crappy (its fine, fluffy with a slight curl and cowlick). Tried an expensive place and the difference was huge. Found a guy that does a good job, followed him when he opened his own place. He charges $65 usually but charges me $40 and the quality is shocking. Biggest downside is that he is booked up at least 3 weeks in advance so I have to think ahead not just pop in when my hair is too long. I'm jealous of people that can get a decent cheap haircut.

Sounds exactly like my hair. The key is finding someone who knows what they're doing. They don't have to be expensive, but they are hard to find.

Been with this Vietnamese guy for over ten years now. He just upped his rate to $18 (+ tip). When he couldn't get me in right away, I tried somewhere else. Found me a mom & pop in another location in town with Google. Charged only $10. Vietnamese shop. Simple haircut. Tapered with clippers on the side. Scissors on the top. Although my hair doesn't look as good as it once did, I can't do bald. Makes me look stupid. Love my guy. He doesn't eff it up. But I do like saving $10 a haircut. That's a nice lunch!

I get a haircut and shampoo so I pay $21 after $4 coupon thus i tip $4, all in i pay $25. I could save money elsewhere but i hate how much hair ends up on my shirt before i get home and wash my hair.

Plus i get a steaming towel which i like.

Same, haven't had a paid for haircut since I was a teenager. My brother gave me clippers so I don't pay for that either. Paying for haircut = wasted money and time to me.

~$35 It is pretty much the only thing I splurge on for myself and I only get one every three months or so.

This sounds about like me... I started shaving my head a few years ago and have never looked back. I shave mine about every 3 weeks.

$0. Clippers by the wife at the house. I have to keep it cut close for work so no sense in paying to have it cut with clippers.
