$10, and that includes a 20% tip. Nice Asian woman in her twenties, working at her small family barbershop.

I don't think that barbershop has a *single* certificate/diploma/degree from any barber or beauty school, but she cuts my hair consistently well for much less than Great Clips or SuperCuts.

When I am in my Florida home it's $8 for the second best haircut I've ever had and I tip the old man Carl $2 so $10 total.

When I am in IL I go to a barber who gouges me for $14 but does a very fine and consistent job. I give him $15 because he's the owner and you really aren't supposed to tip the owner of a barbershop.

I am looking into getting some clippers and doing it myself. My gf says she will clip it for me too if I buy the equipment. At $15 a pop the clippers pay for themselves very quickly.
