How much do you pay for internet, tv and landline?

rudeguy

Lifer
I would like to know how much ATOT is paying for all three. If you don't have a landline, that's awesome....just post how much you are paying for internet/tv.

Landline + cheapest internet = $32 last month. Around $8 in taxes :|

TV is rabbit ears only + $17 Netflix w/Blu-Ray

I got the bill sitting on my desk. I have Time Warner.

Cable:
* Digital cable: $57
* DVR: $10
* Cable box: $8

Internet:
* 8Mbit down: $39

Fees: : $13

Total: $126

I really need to cut the cable service. I barely use it, but its nice to have a handful of shows on the DVR if I ever do decide to watch tv.

Edit: After raping me on charges. I just noticed they slipped an ad for Geico in with the bill. WTF. Advertising in my bill?!

Cable $57
TiVo (2) $16

Internet 5/5 Static - Free through my employer.

Been thinking about dropping TV/Tivo in favor of OTA/Netflix

Satellite
$110 Have almost everything with every movie channel with 2 DVR boxes

Net
$50 No other real competition where I live. Either 6Mb cable or even slower DSL

Internet - $45.

The only shows I watch other than maybe 1 or 2 are available on Hulu, so no cable bill. Also I use my cell so no landline. If you are thinking about budgeting, consider how many shows you actually care about watching as opposed to how much you flip on the TV just because you're not doing anything else at the moment.

Cable (TV only) about $52.29 tax included. Unfortunately, COX has shifted too many shopping channels and simlar GIGO to our level of service trying to fustrate folks like me to upgrading.

Landline with Internet "up to 7MB/840 up" bundled is about $75 with tax.

Add in $10.00 for Netflix movies on line :thumbsup: in this budget category. We do not let them snail mail :thumbsdown: us anything. That way, I can avoid upgrading the cable TV bill.
We also watch a lot of program episodes on line now. No additional charge.

With my current Comcast promotion and including taxes: $115/month -- thankfully, it is split between roommates, and the one who uses the phone pays entirely for the phone portion.

Without the promotion, it would be $142+/month.

Internet: 6/1.5 with powerboost (blows chunks)
Telephone: unlimited calling local/long distance
TV: digital starter package + 1 box (free)

Time Warner:

80 for the verizon flex package (20/5 internet, HD tv package) + 6 for the cable box, part of a family plan for my cell (~15), no landline

I think I just paid $1800 for about 3 weeks of wireless service thru AT&T. I got a bill for that and I just hooked up with their 5gb limit 3 weeks ago. This couldn't be right, could it? :shocked:
I'm going in there monday, something just doesn't seem right.

4,757,584 KB/MB used? wtf?????

Though the local phone company

$49.99 a month for internet (fiber 12 meg package)
$44.99 for a land line

free OTA TV

Probably going to switch out the OTA/antenna TV for a $7 a month Broadcast Basic package though Time Warner soon. Some of my locals (Fox mainly) are pretty far away and get a weak signal. Would get the digital package, but its $72 a month without a DVR. No competition in my area.

WTF, how many channels do you get for an extra $20 over my bill?

It's the extreme HD package I get pretty much all non-subscription/special channels (see here http://www22.verizon.com/NROne...D391/0/MASS_112008.PDF exclude the movie, international, and special sports sections). I specced out the price of just doing internet and the monthly rate + installation charge makes it not even worth it.

Did you know I also got 100 dollars cash back? 😀

$99CDN
Digital TV +Sports Package + Adventue Package 2 Boxes Free
3mbit DSL Internet 40GB Limit
1 Landline

All over the Phone Line and from the same provider, Telus

TV: (Directv w/SDTV DVR) $65/year (don't ask 😛)

Internet: WISP 1mbps down $75/mo! I live about a quarter of a mile from cable/dsl.

No landline, two cell phones.

I am with Time Warner:

2 HD DVR's
VOIP
8Mb RR
=$159 with fees/taxes on 2 year price guarantee.

edit
forgot we also have netflix so tack on another $17

£73

Sky HD+ subscription (Sports/Movies HD etc), PVR

16Mb Broadband (768k upload)

Landline

Should probably also add the yearly TV License of £142.50/year as well so monthly cost is around £85 in total.
