<< Time to move to Canada??? :D >>

Don't worry. The lower IT wages and taxes will make the move worthless.

Great place to live though, although many find my area boring.

<< I said business PAYS for it :D >>

No worries. I was just saying personal because most won't want to fork over that much just for home use. 384up is a big deal, that's why I had to have it.

Along with the static IP.

$81.xx per month for 784kbps/784kbps. Could have up to 4 static ip address but only ask for 3. I don't think my isp offer it this plans anymore.

<< 39/month and I get consistent 1.3Mbps down and 630Kbps up >>

damn... what is your provider?

I have a friend that works at the NOC and he hooked me up with that speed. I pay for only 608/128 but he juiced my connection up at the card in my CO. I rarely get below 1200 on dl and 600 on upload. Only other thing I want though is a static IP. The best part is, I'm almost 12000 ft from my CO and get this speed.

provider is covad

Where I live, I could have DSL (1mbps/128kbps) for ~26$ US. But I have cable (4mbps/128kbps) for 20$ US. :D

I need help with my connection speed! I'll try to tweak my win98 setting to increase the speed. I have a linksys router as well. Is there other way to increase the speed? The CTO is very near (they said 800 ft) so I should get high speed. LEt's see

$35/month for 1.5mbps up, and 764k down But if I want e-mail, it's 20$ a month more from my isp ~_~ and I pay for dial up, so that's $20 more...and my phone bill is around $80... but my DSL is only $35! and the router was free! :)
