How much do you pay for DSL???

I am in UK, i pay for ADSL £40 (us$58) per month... (512kbps down, 256kbps up)

I am curious how much this kind of service costs in USA & elsewhere...

Depends on the speed you want. DSL in my area starts at about $45 for 640Kbps and goes up from there.

$50 a month, USD. That's for 1.5 down (It's really more like 1.2 down) and 128kbs up. Honestly and to be fair, I think that $40 a month would be more appropriate, being that's what Roadrunner cable costs in South Texas. I rate my DSL service (SWBell) as a 6 on a 10 scale due to downtimes of a day or more and very confusing customer service.
