That is high. It would come to around $17 for the shirts and pants with a 20% coupon at the place I go to. Not sure how much they charge for a sweater.

i recently got my winter coat dry-cleaned, cost me 8 bux CDN. i don't bother dry-cleaning other clothing since washing in cold water and laying to dry is the same thing :)

Usually .99-1.75 for shirts(nonsweater type) 1.99-3.99 pants...

Sweaters they sometimes charge $4-8 dollars.
That is where they screw you...

MS Money tells me that I spent $1048.72 on dry cleaning last year. That's 5 shirts and pants a week roughly, about $20.

Women get charged more than men for the same article of clothing. It's a well known scandal in the dry cleaning industry.

It's really difficult to find a good small dry cleaner who has fair prices but also does a fantastic job.

My place is $1.25 for shirts and $3.50 for pants. Don't know about sweaters.

I pay $1.20 per shirt, $6 for a sweater, $2.00 for a silk tie, $5 for pants, and $8 for a suit.

pants are a few buck (3-5) each, shirts for dry cleaning (not laundering and press) are about the same. sweaters, like big puffy wool ones at my place are like 10-12 bucks. So at my place you'd spend

$51-71

So 40% off....would be $31-42.

Figuring you got no other discount due to the 40% off coupon, not a terrible price. I don't get much cleaning done, mainly when my suits need it i take a shirt or two that is a pain to iron with me. Did a parka once, ouch.

But all places are way different.

And remember, dry cleaning in way more $$ than simple launder/press service they have (1-2 per piece).
