How much do you pay for broadband?

I'm curious as to how much other people are paying for broadband internet access, and how it varies by region/country. Post where you live, what service you have (and the company it's through), and how much it costs. If you know the prices of other options that you don't subscribe to, post those as well.

I'm in Western Pennsylvania, and I'm paying $49.95/mo for 512k SDSL through Stargate.net over a CLEC's lines. It's not the best deal available here, but I get a static routable IP (a perk because I'm a former employee), free webspace, and 5 emails. When I lived in the city I had 1544/384 ADSL through Stargate over Verizon lines for $79.95/mo (with my employee discount it was only $42.00/mo 😀).

Comcast cable internet is $45/mo. DSL through Verizon is $44.95/mo, though they're always running promotions for $34.95/mo if you sign up online. DSL through other local ISPs varies between $50 and $60/mo.

How are you getting it that cheap?
Verizon offers a special deal through Purdue which I jumped on immediately.

We pay $39.99 a month for Sprint Broadband which is Terrestrial Wireless. The download is great 4000kbits down, the upload is horrible though, like 50kbits up.
