$1540 / 6 month. Geico. You folks paying less than $500 make me angry.

What kind of car do you currently own? How old are you? Have you gotten into many accidents/gotten tickets for speeding?

2003 Mercedes C class. I'm 22 with 1 not-at-fault accident 2 years ago. Yes, I know that my car is what causes my rate to be so high. But I know plenty of people with expensive cars who are in their early or mid twenties and who pay less than $1000 per 6 month. And most of those people have accidents and a bunch of speeding tickets on their record too.

I think I pay about $1500 / 6 months for my 2 cars. (so figure $850 per 6 months if I only had 1 car) I'm 27 and live in FL.

That's a 99 Jeep Wrangler and a 91 300ZXTT. Reasonably clean driving record. Personally I think this is a pretty ridiculous amount to be paying. I've owned the Z for about 7 years now and my insurance on it is at an all time low, I've probably paid my insurance company $18,000 for insurance since I bought it.

Now I have recently gotten a rather substantial (as in, couldn't do it in the jeep if I drove it off a cliff) speeding ticket so we'll see how that changes things in the future.

I pay around $580.00 every six months. This is for full coverage on a Honda Civic.

What do you pay? I want to shop around and see if I can get a better deal on full coverage.

I pay around that much TOTAL for my 99 grand am, 97 ford mustang, 2002 dodge durango. American Family Insurance. But, they also have my house insurance and life insurance so we get discounts.

I sell auto/home/life insurance in Illinois for Country Mutual Insurance Company (were about the third largest in the state now behind State Farm and Allstate).

If you live in Illinois and would like a comparison from a fellow member here LMK by PM or send me an email at jeff.minus@countryfinancial.com. Even if you are under 21 we are still competitive as long as you qualify for good student discount...

I pay 311 every 6 for my 97 240 SX 100/300/100/10 with 1000 collision and 250 comp.
I pay 277 every 6 for my 03 Toyota Sienna with 100/300/100/510 with 500 on collision and 250 on comp.

$140/6 months liabilitiy only or about on a 92 civic si... 1 ticket 1 not at fault accident... switched over as I turned 21... Couldn't believe it, they ran the numbers twice just to make sure.. I'm so happy about it.
