how much do you owe on your credit cards (total)???

About $2k.... I almost had them paid off earlier this year too... though they are going ot be zero once I get paid this month.

I'm surprised anyone with smarts enought to use a computer would pay the interest rate charged on a credit card.

CAn I change my vote for the ultimate ferengi. ROSSMAN how, the dealer you are, have any balance on a CC? CC are only good if you pay the balance off every month and they have no fees🙂

Although I have heard a online reseller started with 3 guys and 20 CC's and now have over 300 employees and 3 wherehouses in socal.
 
OMG. I just swore off credit cards. I won't even admit how much I owe. Well into 5-figures....let's just say it's less than $20K and leave it at that. 😱

[rationalization]BUT, I have things to show for it. Many people charge $5,000 and go to Jamaica and live high on the hog for two weeks. Granted, I've never been to Jamaica, but I've got enough tools (air tools too) to literally disassemble and reassemble a truck or car. I've got a nice HT, 30+ DVDs almost 300 CDs. I wear decent clothing. I have furniture. I own a washer and dryer, etc, etc.

Oh yeah...and a few pieces of computer equipment. 😀

Hell, you can't take it with you, right?

i was in for 12G...(what can i say,...parents wouldn't pay for college anymore so i charged it)
now i owe 0.
just finished paying final payment on Aug'02 by paying $500 a month.
 
I think I owe like 85 bucks on my American Express . . . which will be paid when my expense report goes through. Another 350 on my Visa.

That's not so bad, but I owe 5K in student loans and 3K on my car.
 
Right now? ~$145 bucks. I use it for purchases and then pay it off in full every month. 🙂
I currently have no debt but my house, something I quite enjoy.
 
Freaking too much...i need to control my spending I swear....ever since I got my cc, I've been charging this and that without even thinking. When the statement comes back, I'm about to cry my arse off. Im not the verge of cutting it up and stop using one once and for all. I never had any problems until I started to use a credit card. It was easier to control money without it. ARGH...

If you pay your minimum payment (depending on what it is, and what your interest rate is), your balance might actually increase..:Q

I have no credit cards, and no debt. Also, I have almost no money..when I have to pay my next insurance bill, I might have to bring a few toys to the FS/T forum 🙁

 
$0.00. Total debt to the world, $1292 for my laptop. That's hopefully gonna change next year when I start at Ohio State University. 😀
