27, ~$68k in 401k, $58k in savings about to get put into some sort of housing (likely a co-op, then a house in maybe 3 years). Single right now, married by end of year, though my fiancee doesn't have jack in her savings.

Real Estate Holdings $950,000 - no mortgages
RRSPs (Canadian version of 401k) - $500,000
Other Investments $80,000
Ownership in Company $360,000

Net Worth $1,890,000.

I'm looking for a little better than $2m when I retire.

Edited: to add that I am married with two kids.

Your right, the Canadian $ was over 90c today. I run a construction company, as well as a few other sideline businesses.

27 single

Own my townhosue with about 140k of equity in it + the ridiculous appreciation it has made in the DC market the last two years

2 401ks worth about 89k

1 Roth IRA worth about 8k

1 brokerage account with about 37k

Cash accounts of about 30k

That is it. I try and max out my 401k and buy a mutual funds in 3k increments for my taxable account whenever I save extra money.

25, Single

About 3k in my pension...a few thousand saved up. I graduated college last year so I'm a little behind the ballgame...

However, I'm WAY ahead of most my friends...that's all that really matters!

Single. 22. In college. $8000 and compounding daily.

As soon as I graduate, I plan on living well below my means in my 20s. Max 401k, IRA, and invest a total of 25k/year. Once I reach 30, I'll stop most of those investments, and focus on a house. However, marriage could change my plan.
