So right now I am tyring to plan a bachelor party for buddy and I am figuring out the festivities and i don't want to make things too expensive for people. Lemme hear from the other guys on the board. When you go to a bachelor party how much do you expect to drop on the night? Right now we are planning two strip clubs, a dance club and a restraunt for dinner.

My cousin (best man) and groomsmen are taking me out to Vegas for 5 days. I don't have to pay for jack (though they are only giving me $500 for gambling). Plane tickets are 180/person round-trip (increased price to cover my ticket). The rooming situation hasn't been figured out yet...but we're looking at around $800/person in total cost (again, increased pricing to cover me).

Hopefully not in that order. :p

Yeah I am in charge of 25 people so a destination was out of teh question to arrange for people. But I am wondering if like 200 or 300 bucks is to much to expect people to have on them for an entire day of debauchery. Also that money is including a bus to drive us around all day so no one has to drive.

I wouldn't say that's too much to expect at all, and I'm extremely cheap.

You figure with drinks, depending on the restaurant, it could be anywhere from $30-$80.
A dance club is going to run at least $5 a drink, so adjust that per person to figure out how much for that part of it.
And for the strip clubs, expect anywhere from $7-$15 for drinks + the girls.

I'm still mad that my groomsmen didn't plan a bachelor party for me :|

I will never ever ever let them live that one down. :|

That's it, I'm going to bang some hookers.

somewhere between 100-300. If it is high class...the sky is the limit. If i pay less than 100, it is a bad party

I was debating this kind of stuff at one point but then changed my mind, but there is paintball, pool, expensive dinner, Actual live firing range

just remember, the bachelor party is about everyone BUT the groom. Therefore, go ahead and plan your night of drinking and stripclubs.

I can't stand vegas bachelor party trips or strip clubs. I would be annoyed if I ended up spending more than $200 on a party. I'd rather spend that money on a good wedding present.

Last 2 I was at we went paintballing then out for a night on the town. It cost me around $150-160, most of the other guys was around 120 or so. I am told I am trigger happy.

To be serious, I agree. I don't think a good time requires a lot of money.

Well all the guys who are going already know exactly where they are going so i don't have to worry about no one liking it. The people who aren't into that stuff simply said they rather not go(all 2 of them). I just need to figure price frame now.

I say $200 but since I can't stand vegas parties or strip clups i am not sure if that would affect my expected price. Maybe to your friends it is worth additional money. If you replaced those with some activity I really like even then I'd not want to spend more than $200. $200 is a lot to celebrate someone else's marriage when considering actual wedding present must be purchased too. Just my view.

Well so far I have figured between entrance fees, dinner, hotel to stay at at the end of the night (3 people per room), bus fee. That is for 2 strip club, dinner at restraunt, and dance club, bus fee and hotel room to crash at. I figure a base of $130 bucks then people can figure according for the rest depending on how much of a lush and/or hornball they are.

I've thrown three bachelor parties in the last year and a half (my brother, best friend, and another good friend). It really depends on what you're doing. I've always wanted to do the Vegas thing but I couldn't get everyone else to go due to work issues. Also depends if you're asking the others to throw in on things.

I spent about $2000 at each. It broke down basically like this:

$800 for 2 girls to show up (you can pay less but they may not have all their teeth)
$200 on beer (I always ask everyone else to bring the liquor)
$500 for hotel rooms
$500 for assorted crap, dinner at a restaurant before, and tips

... and of course, tell your friends to bring money for tips (singles, fives, and tens). I swear, only like 1 out of every dozen guys will actually bring that. Then you've got 11 guys standing around with $50 bills like wtf.

If you're going to get "entertainment" for the hotel later, make sure you SEE THEM FIRST. Don't just go on a website pic or from word of mouth.
