I'll have a rum and coke (I love Captain Morgan + Coke) or a glass of whiskey many Friday and Saturday nights if we're staying home. I never drink and drive period. I like to watch a comedy TV show or movie with a warm buzz. I can't drink more than a beer if I have to get up early, just too old for that any more.
Was drinking several ounces of whisky most nights, but decided my body's ability to handle it has been declining, so I've been confining it to days when I can sleep in the next morning, Friday and Saturday nights like many others.
The older I get the less I drink. It affects my sleep too much and I get up way too damn early to get a shitty night of sleep. Most weeks I'll have 2-3 drinks between Monday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday are typically heavier at nights. Might split a bottle of wine with my wife. Now that I have kids and we are usually doing a bunch of stuff through the day on weekends I rarely have anything to drink before kids go to bed on weekends.
Probably 8-10 drinks per week. Last night mixed up an Old Fashioned and sipped on that while watching TV. Night before had 3 drinks during a Happy Hour. Didn't drink for 3 days before that. Varies wildly.
Varies depending on mood. More in cool weather than warm. Last seven days, I've had 3 glasses of cognac. A heavy drinking winter week might be 10 drinks, and usually whisky. A yearly average is maybe 2 drinks/week.
It varies a lot, probably 2-8 drinks per week. During the week I will have 0-2 drinks and during the weekend I will have 2-6 drinks depending on which days I drink. Sometimes i have none, other times I have 2-3 in one day if I am doing a social event or watching football.
Nowadays, almost zero. I MIGHT have a beer occasionally with a meal in a restaurant, but at home...almost never. A 12 pack usually lasts us 6 months...and most of that gets used in cooking.
25 years ago...it was unusual if I didn't drink a fifth of Crown Royal every night...and on those unusual nights...it was more.
